The Apprentice - Budget
Greetings to all 'wanna be' apprentices!
I have included an example of what your Excel spreadsheet for your budget should look like. To get a larger version of the image, simply click on it!
Your proposal should be typed in a word document and your spreadsheet should be complete by the end of this week prior to your work placements next week (week 10). If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate and make a comment under my post.

Your task is to write a proposal, explaining how you are going to spend the money and how you aim to raise the funds for your cause. This proposal must be at least one and a half pages in length and must consist of:
- An aim (Goal)
- A procedure
- A budget
- An explanation of why you chose your cause and what it means to you.
Your procedure and budget must be well researched and all references must be recognised.

Classwork Update - Pro-Social Behaviour
According to the definition, you have been required to create a comic strip, which demonstrates an act of Pro-Social Behaviour.
This is to be presented into your plastic portfolios as part of your assessment.
If you have missed out on this task due to an absence, please see me as soon as possible and I will assist you with your catch up.
Remember:
A Pro-Social act can be defined as any act of helping behaviour, towards a society, group or individual. Furthermore, theorists and psychologists believe that, the focus of a pro-social act, is not the behaviour (act) itself, but the intention.
Last of all, for the act to be considered to be altruistic, the intention of the individual must be to assist another society, group or individual without benefiting from the act themselves.
Please make sure that your comic strip is handed in, no later than Friday the 15th of May, 2009. If you are having difficulty meeting this deadline, you should take your poster home and have it handed in , by Monday the 18th of May, 2009.
Have a great weekend everyone.
